Coming Soon: LODAS Markets

What is LODAS Markets ?

You’ve come to know us as Realto. But in February, our name will become LODAS Markets.

We’ll continue to be a simple, fast and affordable way for you to buy and sell alternative and real estate investments. But with the name change, we’ll also start offering new opportunities for all kinds of investors.

Why are you changing your name?

We talked with a lot of you the last few months and you said you want the peace of mind and portfolio security that come with having a path to liquidity.

LODAS stands for Liquidity On Demand As a Service. Our new name reflects our focus on helping you buy when you want to buy, and sell when you want to sell – even when the assets are considered illiquid.

LODAS also points to where our company is going. We’ll continue to connect individual investors, plus we’ll also provide liquidity on demand for some of the world’s largest funds and sponsors.

So what will change for me?

As a buyer, seller or investor, it’s business as usual.

The LODAS marketplace will continue to operate like an exchange where alternative and real estate investments are traded similar to company stocks. All trades will still be paperless and potentially executed the same day.

Will there be additional costs?

There will continue to be no fees for buyers. For sellers, the fee will remain a maximum 2.9 percent of the transaction with a $400 minimum.

Will I need to create a new account? Or will my Realto login still work?

We want to make this easy for you. So while our name will change, your account login and password will stay the same.

What kinds of funds will trade in the LODAS marketplace?

Two main types of investments will trade in our marketplace: publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) and business development corporations (BDCs). Soon, we’ll also have private real estate funds available to trade.

We’ll regularly add new products to the LODAS marketplace so you’ll have even more options for achieving a path to liquidity.

I have a few more questions. How can I get them answered?

Send us an email and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can.
